Amy Sandvold is an administrator, teacher and learner. She has served in both public and private schools in rural, urban and suburban areas. She has experience teaching Title I Reading and as a 3rd and 5th grade classroom teacher, and served as a full-time literacy coach. She has been an Education Programs & School Improvement Consultant for the Iowa Department of Education and has taught several courses at the University of Northern Iowa.

Amy has presented on numerous literacy and school improvement topics at regional and international conferences. Amy holds a BA and Master of Arts in Education K-12 Reading Specialist, and has an Advanced Studies Certificate in PreK– 12 Educational Leadership.
