Barbara Sherr Roswell teaches English, linguistics, and women’s studies at Goucher College in Maryland, where she has also directed the writing program and the writing center. She holds a Masters in English Education from NYU and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Program in Reading, Writing and Literacy. Barbara also serves as the Editor of Reflections, a journal devoted to community based writing and writing pedagogy. Among her favorite courses to teach is a seminar in “Gender and Language.”
