Dr. Foote is an educational psychologist with special interest in human learning and motivation. She has published articles on inclusive special education, constructivist learning theory, teaching portfolios, the characteristics of less successful secondary teachers, and gender differences in student motivation and self-confidence. She has also co-authored a book with Dr. Vermette and Dr. Battaglia on constructivist teaching practices in secondary classrooms and a book chapter on New York State teacher certification examinations. Dr. Foote primarily teaches graduate level courses such as Psychology of Human Learning, Psycho-Educational Assessment, and Theory into Practice.
