Cynthia McCabe is the Director of Elementary Schools for Carroll County Public Schools in Westminster, Maryland. Over her career in the state of Maryland, she has been a classroom teacher, gifted and talented resource specialist, assistant principal, principal, and elementary supervisor of curriculum and instruction. Cynthia has also worked as an adjunct instructor at Towson University in Towson, Maryland, supervising administrative interns and teaching courses in the educational leadership division. She has a passion for improving the effectiveness of public schools, enabling students to successfully pursue their professional callings. She and her husband, Jim, enjoy boating on the Chesapeake, gardening, and antiquing.
