Connie L. Hébert is an experienced educator and consultant in the field of special education. Connie works as the Director of the Southeast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and Treatment, as well as an independent consultant for her personal business, here2help, LLC. She provides services to school districts in many areas, including the development of Response-to-Intervention (RTI) systems. Her experience includes special education teacher; classroom consultant; and systems-level school improvement consultant. In 2005, she was named Missouri Staff Developer of the Year. In March 2009, Connie was appointed to one of the two seats designated for Higher Education on the Missouri Governor’s Commission on Autism Spectrum Disorders.
