Diana Bourisaw, Ph.D. has been an experienced, top leader in challenging districts. She has served as teacher, principal, and superintendent in districts throughout the country including Sacramento, Des Moines and St. Louis. She received her Master of Education degree in special education from Northeast Missouri State University and her Ph.D. in educational administration from Iowa State University. Additionally she has served as an elected school board member and was appointed by the governor as a member of the Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education.
Dr. Bourisaw is a published author and keynote speaker. She works to recommend and implement key strategies for systemic change. Diana has also taught at several universities. Her work as a leader in roles supporting districts and states has equipped her with knowledge of how to achieve excellence and equity through systemic change in complex systems.
