
Dr. Harry Tuttle focuses on assessing and improving student learning. He has been a classroom teacher (English and Spanish) technology integration teacher, technology director, and college instructor for English, English as Second Language, Spanish, education, and educational technology. He received the Ruth E. Wasley Distinguished Teacher of the Year award and was part of a program recognized as one of 50 most innovative in the U.S.A. He has received excellence awards and received an ISTE Making it Happen Award. He also served as president of the International Society for Technology in Education's Technology Coordinators' SIG and of the New York State Association for Computers and Technology in Education.
He is the author of three other books, Learning and Technology Assessments for Administrators, Restructuring Education for Quality Learning: From Ideas to Action and The World in Your Classroom: Global Education in Language Learning. In addition, Dr. Tuttle has written hundreds of articles and numerous book chapters on a wide variety of learning and technology issues. In addition to teaching college classes, he speaks internationally and consults with schools. He enjoys sharing with teachers new avenues of learning through his blog, Education with Technology.
