John M. Jenkins has written some 30 articles and book chapters, and serves as the instruction department chair for the International Journal of Educational Reform.  He was a high school principal for over four decades, and served as Director of the P.K. Yonge Development Research School on the campus of the University of Florida.  He had previously taught at elementary, middle, and high schools.  Jenkins currently teaches graduate level courses at the University of Florida and supervises graduate elementary school interns.
