John S. Reynolds is a professor and program coordinator for the Educational Administration and Supervision Program at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.  John has been a teacher, coach, high school principal, superintendent, associate dean, and professor in the field of education. He has been instrumental in establishing field-based graduate administrator programs, and he frequently works in local schools to maintain contact with practitioners' concerns.  He is an assessor with the South Carolina NASSP Assessment Center. 

John was also a city mayor in Florida and has written articles and served as a consultant in the United States and Europe in his areas of specialty--problem solving, human relations, and organizational development.  John and his wife Sheila reside in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

Reynolds received his B.A. from Akron State University, M.A. from Appalachian State University, and his Ed.D. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
