Lisa Morris teaches Language Arts at Edge Elementary in Niceville, Florida. She has been an educator for twenty one years. She also conducts writing workshops for the teachers in her district. Lisa holds a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Lagrange College. She was nominated as the 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year for her current school.

Lisa has published several personal stories in Chicken Soup for the Soul, magazine articles for Just Labs magazine, and two thematic teaching units for Frank Schaffer Publications. She currently serves as the president of the Gulf Coast Writers Guild. Lisa also devotes her time to her four Labrador retrievers and two children--Katie Marie and Bella Grace.
