Lynn H. Bush, a former principal and central office administrator, is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Development at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU), Chicago, Illinois. Prior to coming to NEIU, Lynn served as a central office administrator in curriculum and instruction, preschool/elementary, elementary, middle school principal. Her professional career began as a middle school language arts teacher.

Lynn has a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois (Chicago), Chicago, Illinois in Curriculum and Instruction, M.A in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership from Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois and a B.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from Drake University Des Moines, Iowa. Lynn has published articles and presented nationally on school leadership topics.
