Myron E. Blosser has taught high school science in the traditional 50-minute, seven periods per day schedule, in an alternate day A/B schedule, and in a 4X4 semester plan schedule. He is currently teaching Honors Biology, Advanced Placement Biology, and Molecular Genetics at Harrisonburg High School and serves as the Harrisonburg City Public Schools K-12 Science Coordinator. He has received a number of awards for his teaching, including the Virginia Association of Science Teachers' Biology Teacher of the Year Award, the National Association of Biology Teachers' Outstanding Biology Teacher of the Year for Virginia, and USA Today's All USA Teacher Team Award. He has been involved in local, state and national curriculum writing efforts in the area of Biology and Biotechnology.
