Sharon M. Ward was principal of Jasper Middle School and had previously spent her career as a teacher, a special educator, and an administrator in middle schools and high schools in Texas.  She received the Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Houston and the Master of Education degree from Sam Houston State University.  In addition to her position as principal in Jasper, Texas, she had served as associate principal at McCullough High School in Conroe, Texas, and as an assistant high school principal in Bryan, Texas.  Her wide experience and training have been frequently used in providing training to secondary school teachers and administrators.
