Dr. Susan Lang is the superintendent for the Rossford Exempted School District in the Toledo, Ohio area. She previously served as Executive Director of the Ohio Center for Essential School Reform where she and her staff worked with over 50 school districts to provide the conditions for academic success through the formative assessment process.

Dr. Lang had also served as the superintendent in Canal Winchester School District, secondary curriculum director in Mt. Healthy City Schools, technology director for Clermont County Educational Service center, principal for Medina City Schools, special education supervisor for Strongsville City Schools and teacher in the Bay Village Schools.

Dr. Lang has been selected on numerous occasions to speak nationally and statewide on various topics such as Developing Business Partnerships, Leading with Data, Leadership through Differentiation and other current leadership topics. Her doctorate is from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Dr. Lang has been recognized by her peers through the years as a bold, passionate and sincere leader always striving to ensure each student’s success. Canal Winchester named her the “Pillar of the Community”, the Ohio superintendent’s organization presented an Exemplary Leadership award to her on two separate occasions, and the Governor named her a Trailblazer in Ohio.
