About Heather Wolpert-Gawron
Heather Wolpert-Gawron is an award-winning middle school teacher, 2004 California Regional Teacher of the Year, and the San Gabriel Valley Outstanding Computer Using Educator in 2009. She is a Writing Project Fellow at the University of California at Irvine, a member of the Teacher Leaders Network, author, and blogger. Her first book, 'Tween Crayons and Curfews: Tips for Middle School Teachers, was published in March 2011 by Eye On Education.
