About the Author
Born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium, Thierry Boucquey received his BA in Romance Philology from the University of Louvain, Belgium, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in French from the University of California, Irvine. He is currently Associate Dean of Faculty and Professor of French and Humanities at Scripps College in the Claremont University Consortium.
