About the Author

Dr. Shawn Joseph is currently the Superintendent of the Seaford School District in Seaford, Delaware. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, a Masters in Education from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Doctorate in Education from The George Washington University. He is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles focusing on principal preparation, and his research interests include principal preparation, principal development, school improvement planning, and school/community relationships. Dr. Joseph is married with two children, and he resides in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
